Jerry is a southern Indiana native from Warrick County where he attended Castle High School. Shortly after high school, he became a licensed general contractor operating his own business, JLB Construction.
While working as a general contractor, Jerry was presented with several opportunities that eventually led him to the field of heavy industrial maintenance and fabrication where he was able to develop his skills and excel. Jerry's experience in this field is where his idea and concept for the Refuge Technology product originated. He was granted US and international patents for the product which in turn led to multiple global patents pending.
Originally from Evansville, Indiana, Allen spent his formative years in the heart of the Midwest. He graduated from the University of Evansville in 1997 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Alongside his role at Refuge Technology, which he co-founded, Allen continues to play an active role at Rockfrog Energy, a venture he co-founded. His wealth of experience spans over three decades in the electrical industry, including a significant leadership tenure as CEO at Flanders. Driven by a deep-seated desire to serve God and people through business, Allen's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Refuge Technology, where he strives not only to create groundbreaking technology but also to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Dave is a Southern Indiana native with family roots in Gibson County’s farming community. He graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and earned his master’s degree from Southeastern Baptist College.
Dave spent eight years in Central Asia with his family doing humanitarian aid work. He returned to the United States and served in various roles for Flanders, ultimately as Chief Operating Officer. While at Flanders he spent much of his time helping to develop Flanders international business, which included the deployment of advanced electrical mining technologies along with electrical service and repair.
As a graduate of the University of Evansville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robby has embarked on a dynamic journey within engineering, spanning across various disciplines. His expertise encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from traditional power plants and natural gas measurement/control systems to complex solar projects while performing on design, testing, construction, inspection, and troubleshooting functions.
He excels in dynamic environments where challenges fuel creativity and drive progress. In addition to his engineering pursuits, He has also worked in the fields of helicopter and motorcycle mechanics, drawing upon his mechanical acumen to navigate these machines.
